In this seminar, the basic armoury of the Hungarian weather forecasters in terms of numerical models is presented (mainly ECMWF, ALADIN, AROME), along with the ways and means of its development. Special attention is shown for the RC-LACE consortium, the primary venue for ALADIN related developments, and activities of the Hungarian NWP team, in research, development and applications. Questions are most wellcome.
